NFL To Players: Get A Hair Cut or Get A Real Job

As has been widely reported this week the NFL competition committee wants to pass a rule to regulate how long a players hair can be. There are guys in the league like Troy Palamalu and Rasheed Mathis and Ricky Williams lest we forget that choose to wear their hair long enough that it covers the name on the back of their jersey. The NFL now has a problem with this because if the hair is obstructing the name of the player we somehow will not know who they are. I meant he league is militant with some of their rules. Towels have to all be the same length, you can only wear certain kinds of shoes plus you have to keep your shirt tucked in at all times. It's like NFL players attend West Point or something. I mean most of these guys can't even manage their lives yet they're expected to follow these rules. I guess the league gets a kick out of telling a bunch of 20 something millionaires how they have to look one day a week. Needless to say the Players Association has a right to veto such a rule and I'm sure they will. I just wish the NFL would find better ways to improve the game other than proposing the Super Bowl be held in a foreign country or worry about the length of a players hair.
