Stiff of the Week: Hank Steinbrenner

First things first, I don't have a problem with the owner or Chairmian of a baseball team speaking his mind about his team. God knows as an O's fan, I've dealt with the fall out for years, but if you own the team, you get to call the shots. Just don't be surprised when championships don't follow that management style.

What I do have a problem with, is being unoriginal. I mean, come on Hank, are you really going to try and walk in your father's shoes on this? Have you ever heard the expression "a fat pope must follow a skinny pope" meaning that if your father was retarded and heavy handed in his running of the Yankees, shouldn't you try something new? You oust Joe Torre, you bitch about the pitching staff and you talk about how you are still the universe's favorite team (even though you haven't won shit since '00, and the Sox have won twice.) What's next? Are you going to dig up Billy Martin and make him the next manager?

Get a new act! I dub thee, Douche Hank Steinbrenner, Stiff of the Week.
